I believe we have in the past discussed our mutual uncertainty about kids with clearly adult-created protest materials, specifically in the realm of Prop 8 and related concerns. I am just not sure about this. I think as a teacher I have developed a strong sensitivity to not wanting to pimp out kids and their presence just because they are kids and cute kids get attention. I had a similar feeling about the "Don't Divorce Us" video:

...especially the moms-to-be with the sign written in the authors voice of their very own Phelps.
Sage Andersen (33, teacher) and Emily Griffen (34, lawyer) live in a sweet California bungalow in East Oakland with their cat, Lorenzo, Sage's Millenium Falcon, and Emily's two Vespa scooters. They are expecting their first child on May 5, currently growing at an incredible rate in Sage's uterus. They do not know and do not want to find out Phelps' sex, because it really shouldn't matter, and they will dress him/her in both pink and blue no matter what. It never hurt anybody.
They like to garden, hike, cook/eat, travel, watch sports, and clean their house. One of these is not true. In their spare time, they dream about building their dream house in Mendocino, and visit their land where that house will some day be built, among redwoods, douglas fir, hemlock, huckleberries, and non-native pampas grass, the latter of which they are attempting to eradicate with mixed success. You are more than welcome to visit and do your part.
